I am trying to set up my account but it says wrong username or password each time for my peoples back i CT

Hi to all,
We have filed this issue with the People's United Bank (CT) account to our engineering team and they're working to fix it. Sorry for the frustration this is causing. Unfortunately, we cannot give you an ETA on its fix.
Fixing these bugs could really take some time. And users need not fret, since we'll inform you through forums or we'll try with personal email if we already have any important information regarding this.
Our engineers are continually fixing product bugs and functions. Please bear with us.

the problem is not with user name and password the prablom lays in the new system that peoples bank just updated to , the question are all different and login is comletly changed and i am affraid they are not going to do nothing about it , they have to re- do the whole new login to this bank period

I think my problem has something to do with the security questions. The ones on Mint don't match the ones on Peoples Bank.

100% are the questions none of the one i have are in the new peoples bank sign on page. and now there is 4 questions not 5 like mint.com shows.
the other think is it complitly new sign on to peoples bank, there is nothink we can do exept to talk to mint to change or put new login for are bank. I went to extreame and i change my bank to webster bank and its working for me just have to do mydirect deposit again but i can use my peoples bank for now. i don't think they are going to change any think on mint but is not just mint the other paqge has the same problem yodlee.com so if you want go to extreame change your bank its not that hard i did it in less than one hour and if they fix than you go back just don't close your account. -

I'm sure mint will be fixing the issue, has anyone tried submitting a bug fix request from the mint.com help page? I did this with a much smaller back and they got it all fixed up for me. It may also not be a mint.com problem, peoples bank may not be allowing third party website access to the new system.

Thanks. I sent an e-mail to tech support at peoples to ask them that very question: are they allowing third party access to the new system. I will let you know what they say.

I think it is a problem with Peoples and not with mint as I have the same problem on my Fidelity Full View ever since Peoples changed their web site and sign in page. They need to have the user name and password all on one page like they used to.

its hard to say who is to blaime for this but i am sure that peoples bank have a lot to do with it.
Peoples changed their web site and sign in page but that makes no difrence how many steps there is before you can login to your account.
I have webster bank which i just like peoples new sign on page
and have sign on to login like peoples have know with difrent pages to sign on to acount and it works with out any problem so there is way mint can fix the problem the quastion is how long is going to take them to do it. -

one of the most frustrating things about this is that we cant manually update or fix the account balances ourselves. My balances/budgets are completely out of wack and I can't do a thing except delete my people's accounts from mint and put in a dummy account as a place holder with the peoples accounts balances. ridiculous.
Also, gordon - if you see this, can you update the title of this "problem" to include the word People's Bank? the thread title is very vague.-
I agree... Manually updating a bank with repeat deposits and adding a one off deposit would be All I need. And maybe just as fast as connecting to a bank!

Since peoples changed over it is not working, ihope this issue is resolved soon, i WAS ENJOYING MINT.COM.

I also cannot connect to Peoples Bank. I believe it has to do with the new web site Peoples just switched to. It is extremely frustrating but I think it will just take a little time. In the end I may switch banks as well, or find another source like Mint.com and switch that.

As you know Peoples renovated their website about a week ago. Mint has recently updated the security questions from the new Peoples site but I still get an error message saying that there are 'Temporary problems adding my account' :(

I have a business and a personal account with peoples. A Business ID is needed along with a userid/password. It also redirects you to a different url/website when you log on with a business ID so it will be a while before they get that fixed I'm sure. Oy

Great that you're looking into this, but it really must be fixed ASAP or I think you will lose a lot of users, as will People's bank. I can't meaningfully track my expenses if I can't include my payments made by check from my People's account. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!

I have filed an issue with mint.com. It is due to the new system. If you had a connection setup previously, you will probably have to delete the connection information and recreate it, that is what is happening with Quicken as well due to the new system. But you will have to wait until mint.com has cleared up the connectivity issues on their end before you can setup the new connection.

Peoples Technical support suggested this... btw Peoples has been a IT banking leader for 35 years. As a former DEC/Compaq/HP FE,Peoples has my utmost respect.

You should contact mint.com to troubeshoot the issue. I know that for Quicken, Intuit has to disable and re-enable their one step update, I am assuming that mint.com will have a similar problem with the new system.

Glad to hear they are working on it. I started using mint.com the day AFTER they switched the login stuff, and this is the account I actually keep all my money in. Needless to say, my finances look pretty grim without it working properly!

Mint is still not able to log-in to Peoples. Now at least Mint receives a feed of the applicable new People's security questions, but answering them correctly still does not make the connection! It is not clear to me whether the problem resolution lies with Mint or Peoples at this point... The lack of connectivity is really starting to bug me but I'm not sure who can or will help us resolve this...

The company has marked this problem as solved. The problem is still existent. Problem is not solved, still can not utilize Peoples United Bank within company service. Problem should not be marked as solved until service has been restored to a functioning level.

completly frustrated. wanted to take advantage of what i heard was a great site. i use frost bank in tx. keeps telling me wrong username and password. IT'S NOT WRONG AT MY BANK!

give it some time- i forgot i even had this till I went and checked an account and low and behold it worked this time-
