I just spoke with Sharonview Federal Credit Union. Mint.com integration with Sharonview will be available Aug 29.
-
It is now September 2nd, and I still can not integrate my SFCU account with Mint. I'm going to try to reach out to Sharonview to see if they have an update on this, as it looks like this is their problem and not mint.com

Alright, after an e-mail sent to SFCU, I got this response:
We are checking into that for you. Thank you so much for letting us know.
And then the response we are looking for:
At this time, our secure site does not support Mint.com. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your feedback, we do look at all options available in maintaining a secure, accessible site for our members.
Regards,
Sharonview EServices
Looks like we won't be getting that support. -

An additional response I received from them:
Currently the vendor who supplies us with our web site infrastructure does not support it. We are checking on the reason for you. When we decide on which vendor to use, what processes to put in place, or whether we will be able to do something in-house, we look at: security, cost, and the ability to integrate it with our other systems. Our highest priority is to give the most value to our members, in the form of competitive rates and features like the web site. Our budgets are not as high as a large bank, so we are sometimes limited in that regard, but we certainly look into ways to stretch our dollars. We will get back to you regarding our vendor. -

This does not sound hopeful for a solution. Mint is totally dead in the water for me until SFCU starts updating.
Anyone who is a Sharonview member, be sure to send them an email asking for MINT.com support!-
I received another e-mail from them yesterday saying:
The official word from our vendor is that they will not support Mint.com for security reasons. So unfortunately, this is not an option for our members right now. We are looking to see if there are any possible options for us, since members are starting to ask and request it. Thank you very much for your feedback.
Looks like they'll consider it if more people complain/ask for it, however I wouldn't hold my breath. SFCU, while a great institution, is smaller than the bigger banks and I agree with them saying that they don't have the resources. I work in a start-up tech company so I understand the whole limited resources deal. Still, it would be very nice to have! -

I just emailed Sharonview. I really hope they do something about this. I don't have much of a problem balancing my budget, but I think this site would make it even easier.

FYI, Sharonview worked for me today, so I guess they added basic account support since the last posts. However, I can't get the creditcard to import that I have through them.
