Mint's Zillow screen can't find my address, but it shows up fine on Zillow.com.
I've tried adding it in with abbreviations and not. I've also tried it with exactly the same format as appears on Zillow. No luck.

Howdy Minters,
We're currently investigating why some users are not getting address results in Mint.com but do in fact get results on Zillow. Thanks for your patience while we sort through these reports. We'll reach out to you via email if we need your address to troubleshoot. Thanks for reporting it and sorry for the frustration.
We are in contact with Zillow to solve this.

Don't know if others are seeing this too, but I've noticed that my house on Zillow is double listed (probably an agent mistake). So every time I look up my address on Zillow at the top of the map there's a dialog saying...
showing: XYZ
were you looking for: XYZ
I wonder if this is part of the problem with Mint's interface to Zillow? Any other users experiencing this?
I also reported this to Zillow, will update if that solves it. :)

We are trying to track down this problem. Could you send me the address you tried to add to Mint. Thanks

I'm also having this problem. I own the home record on Zillow too, so I know it's there.

I am having this problem, too. sjoseph, please e-mail me for my address. I think it has to do with the fact that I had my address listed before the switch to Zillow. My bet is there is a programmatic check which finds my old address in your database, and it omits that result from the Zillow API results. I did a search of my building, and 14 of 15 units show up (but not mine). Also, when I try to add it manually, it lists all of my loans, but not my mortgage. My guess is that is because it is still listed to my address that was listed pre-Mint/Zillow.

I am suffering from this affliction! Please make it stop too!

Same issue here. Please email me for the address so we can get this fixed. Zillow used to work for my address now it's gone and it will not find it properly.

Add another one with the problem. Worked previously; suddenly stopped about two weeks ago.

Same issue...and in the list of accounts to associate with the property, my mortgage isn't showing up even though it's in my list of accounts. Very buggy introduction.
-
-
The mortgage problem has always been there. I'm not sure why but it's been present for months. Oddly enough it looked as if Zestimate had found my property and provided it at zero dollars but then when I refreshed it was gone.
-
-
I also cannot find my home on here but it's fine on zillow. I will give you my address if you email me

same here. zillow is a good option but you need to add some flexability eather manual add home value or allow the tax assed value..

16 days and still no solution??? How about going back to the old system without Zillow.
-
What's annoying to me Martin is that Mint is claiming this if fixed. Look at the response at the top of this page from Stephen Mann(16 days ago) and below it you will see this statement: "The company says this solves the problem".
No, acknowledging a problem exists and saying you're working with your partner to fix it is NOT a solution. It's accepting that you have a bug, NOT a solution. -
-
-
-
-
I realize that this is just a flaw in Mint's system and they offer services for free. So I get what I pay for.
BUT, I am quite annoyed that the company is claiming that this problem is fixed. Working with a partner to fix something, is not a fix. A fix is
a) remove property
b) re-add it but use zip code only(doesn't work, just an example)
c) your value will now by dynamically updated.
If this was your car, and it was broke, and your mechanic needed to talk to Ford to find out how to fix it, your car still wouldn't drive. So the issue is not fixed. The issue is acknowledged or under analysis or they're testing the solution, but it is not fixed. -
-
Same problem. It won't find my address. I put in my neighbors address for now since our houses are almost identical. But I'd like this to be fixed.

I noticed zillow had 2 listings for my address. (1 had a z-estimate ..but.. the other didn't have a z-estimate). So, I tried to put my neighbors address - and it DID accept it. Is anyone with the problem seeing anything similar?
-
Yes, i found 2 listings for my address. Once Zillow fixed the duplicate, Mint was able to find and update my address.

Please just allow us to choose cyberhomes or zillow, that would solve the issue as long as my historical data could be retrieved from cyberhomes.

Its odd that this USED to work. Only recently did this stop working for me and now I too cannot associate my home loan with Zillow. I don't understand why this does not work. I can lookup my home on Zillow and its found just fine. Mint, please FIX this. Something changed...what?
-

same here not working now and used to work before, please send me an email so I can reply with my address. also, Just for testing, I was able to find my next door house with no problem.

I'm having the same problem. I've never been able to add my addy once the transition to Zillow was complete.

I've contacted Zillow to remove the duplicate entry for my house. Hopefully that does the trick!

I live in a condo building with 7 floors. Most of the apartments in my building have info available on Zillow, but mine doesn't appear in any search results. I'm curious why this is?
I know the Zestimate isn't 100% accurate, but it's better than guessing from nothing. How do I get my apartment info to show on Zillow?
Thanks for any info.

My net worth trends are completely ruined by this zillow estimate.
I tried it and it valued my house at N/A because none available.
I reversed it back, to my manually entered value and my net worth over time is still shot.

I think there's something wrong with the zillow integration. My house shows up on zillow.com just fine, but when I try to add it to my mint account, it says it can't be found.

I can't add my house to Mint. Zillow doesn't recognize the address (1 Gelding Ct, 94526) through Mint, but they do if I go directly to Zillow.com.

When Mint.com switched to Zillow for tracking home prices, I was unable to add my address, even though using the same address yields the correct result on the Zillow.com site. I deleted my home and tried again with no luck, so I added it manually. Not only did I lose the historical data, but I cannot tie the home with the mortgage loan, because the loan is not displayed as one of the choices, even though it is in my loan accounts.

My home shows up on Zillow's website with a Zestimate, and it showed up for a month or so, but for the past few weeks it is unable to find the amount. Why??
I really appreciated this service, so I could keep up to date automatically on the value of my home, and now I'm required to manually update it.

adding an address under realestate the system says no matches--I'm pretty sure the address is valid since I live there and can find it on Zillow directly. :-) Please advise--other than that great product! Keep up the good work!
thanks

Also, this sentence (containing a wrong word) comes up with the error message: "We've having trouble retrieving the information."

Same problem. Our primary residence shows a Zillow estimate but our investment property does not.
-

My real estate vanished from my list of accounts when I went to check on it after getting an email about not being update its value. I can add it again (but not look it up automatically, even though I can find the property myself on zillow), but now my mortgage isn't available as an option for linking the new real estate account to.

I have this problem too. Nothing comes up on Mint, but info is available on Zillow. After trying a few different searches it looks like no houses on my road can be found. Some others in my neighborhood do seem to work... The bigger problem still is that I cant edit the DATE of my transaction though since it messes up my net worth trends, manual entry of the value isnt too bad.

This finally worked for me. In the street address field, enter your entire address, city state spelled out fully (i.e., enter 123 Main Street, Anytown, Virginia 23456), and also enter your zip in the zipcode field.
This made zillow recognize my address.- view 1 more comment

I've been tracking this issue for a few weeks now and don't see any responses from Mint. Are you guys still working on this? Zillow still can't find my address which I tried entering in various formats.

got to love the customer service.. "there is no problem.. and we will just ignore it till the users go away"

Wow...to the point I question if Mint is going to work for me long term.

They've already acknowledged they're looking into the problem. Consider that they're working together with a 3rd party on an unforeseen issue with functionality that likely took them several months to develop. Theres a good chance that when they tested this they didn't encounter what we're encountering since it looks like it's being caused by bad data from Zillow, and it may not be that simple to resolve. If they said they're working on it, they'll fix it.

I'm not sure why you say that. If i search for "Can't find my address" this is the first topic that shows up, If I search for "Zillow" it's in the top 5; and it also indicates to me that there's a solution in progress.

I agree with the last comment. I've tried everything suggested so far, and NOTHING WORKED. The issue has NOT been resolved.
-
-
Essentially it's a system of metrics and focus won't be provided to those issues listed as resolved. I'd be surprised if there was much visibility to it.
The key is to start a new problem and get responses against it quickly. We've done it twice on problems and they get resolved very quickly.

I've started a new problem for it with the above link. -

I've been very annoyed by this issue, having not been able to see my home's value for several months, but finally got the Zillow app in Mint to find my home today. Don't know if this will work for everyone, or if it's already been suggested above, but for Street Address, I typed in the entire address:
, ,
and only left the zip code to the zip code text field. It found my property without any problems.-
Yeah! This worked for me as well! When I go to Zillow and type just my street address but not the city or state, Zillow can't find the address. Exactly the same result as Mint. If I add ",[city],[state]" after the address, Zillow then finds two records for my house (duplicates). If I do Ashwin's solution, Mint finds the two records too!!! I just type in [Street],[City],[State] in the address field and the zip in the zip field. Mint then finds the 2 duplicate records and I select the one that is right. Thanks Ashwin!!!

It worked for me too. Thanks.

Works for me now too! It didnt before! Yaaaaaaay!
However, it's not updating the value.......:( -
-
-
-
Mint folks, can you please fix the historical net worth issue that the switch to zillow has caused?
At the very least could you just allow us to enter our home values for each month in the past? That way I could look it up on zillow or get the info from your "net worth" e-mails from past months. -
-
After Mint switched to Zillow, everything related to Real Estate broke. My primary address/residence no longer updates (probably because Zillow doesn't find it), and a rental property that was once in my Mint account was deleted. I am unable to add it... because Zillow can't find it either.
Seems to me like Mint needs to scrap their relationship with Zillow, and go back to whatever they were using before. Zillow is horrible!! They must be paying Mint a lot of money to be a primary partner!
I'll say this much... this has made me lose faith in Mint. How frustrating! I used to think that Mint was awesome, but now I wonder if I should just delete my account. Does anyone know of another, similar service (that is not plagued with problems etc.)? Thanks.-
they should at least make it an option.

I, too, had this problem. When looking at the Zillow search result, I noticed that it had my address, city and state all combined. I tried that on the Mint side and it found my address quickly.
See if that works for you.-
This worked for me as well.

I had the same problem with one of my rentals. No matter what I did; contacting Mint or zillow, didn't fix it. So, what I did was I put the name of the city after the address. Has worked ever since. I don't know why, but I only care that it works. Try it.
-
-
The Zillow value of your home is ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS. NO intelligent person uses the Zillow value for any purpose, especially not real estate agents. Get a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) and manually input the value into Mint.
-
-
The user mcmahst found a solution that worked for me too. Add your city after the address in the address field. Mint found my property the first time after having this same issue for years. Thanks!
