Please be informed that Mint currently uses two different back-end systems to aggregate financial data. One of those systems, the older one, currently supports Prudential Retirement Services, and the new one does not.
Your friend or someone you know may have added this financial institution in *their* Mint.com account which you can't find in *your* Mint.com yet. We'll soon be providing support for about 6,000 more banks and institutions for ALL Mint users but in the meantime, we are doing some testing to make sure everything is working to our standards here at Mint.com and Intuit.
Here's what you can do. First, please search for "prudential retirement" in the Add Account section of Mint.com. If you are on the older system, you will see this:
If you are on the system that do not support this option, for now, what you, as users, can do is to send us an Add Bank request. File with us a "Please support my financial institution!" at https://wwws.mint.com/contact.event/. Or click the link at the bottom of the Add Account page that says "request that we add your bank".
We realize this is a bit frustrating for some of you but this change we are implementing is definitely for the greater good and will allow users like yourself to add more supported banks and institutions.
