Android Tablet App - Bug Reports & Feature Requests
-
I think the new android application is great. However, the android phone version displays my available cash in cash accounts (current balance - pending transactions). I do not see that on the tablet version. Would really appreciate that feature being added. Typically, financial decisions are made based on cash at hand not my current bank balance.
Thanks for your consideration,
Kevin-
kjolaoso May 03, 2012 20:31I agree. Will this feature be available anytime soon?EditDeleteRemove

You *desparately* need to add the 'split' function for transactions to android.
Right now, if I have a transaction to split, I can only do it via the web.
This one feature would make the add 10x more useful on the mobile (android) version!-
Absolutely. Just tried the app for the first time and that's the first thing I was looking for. Argh. WTF mint?

I agree. App functionality is a key determinant for me to use mint.com

Congrats for the new app! I'd love to see nice dashboards about my investments though. Keep up the good work!

Every time I switch apps, Mint crashes. Also, can you create new categories on the Android Tablet app?
-
I am not sure what you mean by "switch apps", can you elaborate? I am not understanding why you would need to switch apps.
You can only create new categories on the web at this time.
Thank you,

They mean, multitasking I think. Like switching from Facebook to mint, and back again.

Do any planning features work on samsung galaxy tab 7? Even on mint.com if not on the app itself? I get server error messages all the time. Mint looks awesome if only it would fully work. Help!

How do I change graph?. I am using a galaxy tab 10.1. The new appear opens with the spending graph and I cannot change it.

Need to be able to delete pending transactions like on the iphone app versus haveing to log in on a pc.

Support for 7" tablets would be a huge plus. My Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is drooling over the screenshots it sees on Android Market and is feeling very depressed that it wasn't invited to the party.

it won't let me sign in and tells me to sign up. Samsung galaxy tab 10.1 and I definitely know my password because I can load it on the browser.

Please help! My mint account stopped updating. On computer, phone and tablet. This only started from Feb. 27. I tried deleting and re adding my account but when I re added my bank account it will not even download the old transactions. Please help! I love your app!

Yes please. I need to be able to split transactions on my tablet.
Also, is this tablet app something new? I've had mint on my tablet for months. I don't see anything actually called Mint-Tablet so I assume it's just all the same version. Mine says 2.0.1 -
-
I just downloaded and tried it for the first time 10 minutes ago, and I already have a problem. I don't konw if its related to my device or anything like that, but each time I add a new transaction, the final amount that the app stores is multiplied by 100... (16 000$ instead of 160$ for example...)
And that's really annoying :-( -

Can we get this app ported to the Barnes and Noble Nook please?

I have the iPad version, but this probably applies to the Android version. When showing the net income over time graph, you need to show the net in context with the debits and credits, rather than just the net. Otherwise you can't tell if a net increase or decrease was due to reduced spending or increased income, or vice-versa.
You have this on the web version, it'd be nice on the mobile version. In fact, is there any real reason not to have feature parity at all? -
